Brendens Surgery Jan 6th 2009

This web site has been set up by me so that I can keep all of my family and friends up to date on how my surgery is going and how I am doing. I will leave daily up dates here so that you can check on my progress during my hospital stay, and my recovery at home too. I go in on Tuesday January 6th. I will be at Yale until Friday January 9th. I will be having a derotational osteotomy of my left femur, and a metal plate removed from my right tibia. Surgery will be about 3 hours. My mom and dad will be waiting for me in the waiting room and my dad will be sleeping over in the hospital. My mom will be here with me everyday while my brother and sister are at school, and she will go back home at night to sleep with them. You can leave messages here for me and I will be checking them everyday. I figure this is an easy way to stay in touch.

  5. Hi Brenden,
This is Josh Tramontano. My mom knows your mom from the gym. I've had surgery twice this year and was in the hospital for a week both times. It's no fun in the hospital, but you can play video games ALL day long once you're feeling better, and the ice cream is pretty good, too.
I just wanted to let you know we will be thinking of you and your family. I know your mom and dad will take real good care of you and get you home as fast as they can.
My dad works at the hospital. Please let us know if you need anything at all. He is right downstairs in Admitting and only a phone call away!
How long will it take for you to get better?
Do you get to miss a lot of school?
If you want company when you get home, I would love to come and play some video games with you.
Hang in there and stay strong!!!!!!!

We'll hope to see you very soon. Go Sox!
    Go Brenden!

  9. Brendan,

Great to see you last night at the Cuppernull's

I am watching the new MLB Network now and I know as a Red Sox and Baseball fan you will really like watching it.

Best of Luck with your surgery and I am sure all in the neighborhood will see you out walking, jogging and riding your bike real soon.

If you and your family can make it, we would love to have you come to a Quinnipiac Hockey game this weekend. QU is playing Harvard (1/2) and Dartmouth (1/3) and we hope that you could come to one (or both) games.

    Best of Luck B!
